A Walmart employee was killed in a shooting at the store’s parking lot Wednesday night in Cheltenham Township, according to the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office.
The victim, identified as 45-year-old Latosha Ann Cooper, had just finished her shift at the Walmart on Easton Road when the shooter fatally struck her, prosecutors said.
Officers responded to the shooting at the Cedarbrook Plaza Shopping Center on Easton Road at approximately 11:24 p.m. in the Glenside section of Cheltenham.
According to prosecutors, the shooter was wearing a mask. No arrests have been made.
The investigation is ongoing.
