India has raised concerns over the United Nations' financial crisis, with unpaid regular budget contributions reaching $1.46 billion and peacekeeping dues rising to $4.1 billion in 2026. Surendra Adhana, Counsellor at India's Permanent Mission to the UN, urged member states to clear their dues on time.
