AKRON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – In Akron, a man was being questioned in connection with a shooting at a South Street bar that left one man dead and another injured Tuesday night.
Akron police were called to the Absolut Bar at around 10:30, finding 36-year-old Antonio Burney in the parking lot, shot numerous times in the chest.
There was also a 26-year-old man inside the bar who had been shot in the leg.
Burney died at the hospital.
Police say an argument started inside the bar, and it moved outside and escalated..
